Sales Account CoordinatoR

REPORTS TO GENERAL MANAGER

As a member of our Sales and Marketing team at Blake Jarrett & Company, the Account Coordinator will:

  • Support  sales team in the management of various project related tasks.

  • Manage BJCO Customer Service Program and Database.

  • Execute sales administrative objectives such as data entry, generating reports, quotes, and utilizing BJCO custom ERP system daily.

  • Work closely with other internal departments, specifically the design studio, project management, finance and production teams.

  • Provide administrative support to Account Directors in areas of strategy execution, forecasting, and new business development.

  • Participate in industry training and vendor tours.

  • Participate in the interaction between  BJCO & clients on various aspects of projects including:

  • Art and pricing approvals.

  • New Project Briefs.

  • Field Research (photo audits, gathering retail specifications, and assist with prototype installations).

  • Creative presentations.

  • Prototype reviews.

  • Provides support and back up to Sales for day-to-day requirements.

Skills:

The idea candidate will possess the following:

  •  Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • A basic understanding of retail, particularly as it relates to merchandising and retail.

  • Strong customer service, communication and relationship building skills.

  • Ability to effectively work independently as well as within a team setting.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education:

  • University or College graduate (or equivalent experience) with some marketing or business related course participation.

Experience:

  • 1 – 2 years work experience in corporate setting.

  • Exposure or basic understanding of marketing departments and/or agencies.

Additional Related Skills:

  • A basic understanding of manufacturing techniques and processes is an asset.

  • Strong understanding Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to research and present findings.

  • Keynote experience preferred.
